About this service
We believe an outdoor wilderness environment offers unique opportunities to grow and develop young minds. Campers who attend Camp Alexo are able to enjoy a vast array of new experiences, learn lifelong skills, discover new interests, and make new friends. Our camper to counsellor ratio is 3:1, ensuring every camper has the opportunity to develop a positive relationship with a camp leader. All our counsellors receive appropriate camp and volunteer training, and are screened in accordance to industry standards. Camp Alexo is a non-denominational accredited camp with the Alberta Camping Association and a member of the Canadian Camping Association. Programs can be registered for on-line through the youthhq.ca website.
