About this service
When distressing situations become too difficult to manage, a more consistent connection to a counsellor may best serve the needs of a client. Our appointment-based therapy allows clients to see the same therapist on an ongoing basis. Focused counselling identifies strengths and opportunities for change, and is available for individuals, couples, and families. The fee is determined by what the client can afford to pay.
Focused counselling is goal oriented. The aim is to understand the challenges of today and for the client and therapist to develop goals that will help find a way to improve things for the future. Because the client engages with the same therapist over multiple visits, together they build a relationship that contributes toward positive outcomes and solutions.
