About this service
The Subsidy Ride Program, now in its 9th year, has been set up to provide reimbursement for travel costs to medical facilities and hospitals, as well as for social and educational opportunities within the province of Alberta. Applicants must be residents of Red Deer or Sylvan Lake with a maximum single income limit of $24,000 per year. Travel may be by regular transit, Action bus, Red Arrow Motorcoach, Greyhound Bus Lines, taxi, personal transportation, or any combination of these. A support person may be taken along if required.
