About this service
Heritage Assessment and Counselling Services provide comprehensive psychological, psycho-educational and psycho-social assessment for youth age 12 to 17 years old. The assessment process and final product is completed under the supervision of a registered aboriginal psychologist to ensure that all testing procedures and recommendations are culturally specific and sensitive. Assessments include individual psychological, educational and behavioural reports that will produce information and recommendations specific to each youth according to their unique needs and referral questions and concerns. Assessments can be completed within a residential treatment model which includes having the youth stay within our facility with our highly trained staff for a 45 to 60 day assessment period, or can be completed within the community by our psychological team who will come to you.
