CAWES is committed to providing trauma informed, low-barrier-to-entry services to women and children in Central Alberta including:
o Safe, secure, emergency accommodation with occupancy of 40 beds.
o Food, shelter, personal incidentals, non-prescription drugs, transportation, and protection
o Crisis Intervention and Counselling: Case management, Crisis intervention, Walk-in services, Phone-in services, Risk management & Safety plans
o Information / Referrals
o Client based Outreach Services
o Community based Outreach Services
o Intensive Case Management
o Innovative Child Care Program
o Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
o Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
