About this service

Central Alberta Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Network is your regional connection to the Alberta FASD Service Network initiative. This province-wide network of community and government agencies works to promote FASD prevention, and to provide services to families and individuals.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is an umbrella term used to describe a range of disabilities that may affect an individual whose mother drank alcohol while pregnant. FASD is the leading cause of developmental disabilities in Canadian children, and is completely preventable.

The Central Alberta FASD Network provides:

Advocacy and Support for those affected by FASD, including their caregivers
