About this service
The Olds Community Health Centre offers a set of two classes, five times a year that cover information from late pregnancy and birth experience to caring for you and your newborn baby. Content includes: late pregnancy and the onset of labour, relaxation, progress of labour, coping strategies, comfort measures, labour support, complications and variations medical options, caesarian birth, infant feeding, advantages and challenges of breastfeeding and getting started for success. Newborn behaviour and care, adapting to parenthood, car seats, and other safety concerns are also addressed.
