About this service
The YMCA Early Intervention Program for Young Mothers (Young Moms Program) is a comprehensive, educational program designed to meet the diverse needs of pregnant and/or parenting teens. Participants can complete their high school education through independent study with the support of a teacher while learning life management skills. The program is conveniently located within the YMCA's Crescent Heights Child Development Centre which provides an opportunity for participants' children to receive on-site care while they attending the program.
This program is made possible through the partnership of Children's Services, Medicine Hat Public School Division and the YMCA of Medicine Hat.
