About this service
In partnership with Alberta Health Services, St. Josephs Home offers convalescence and palliation care to the Medicine Hat community. We serve residents of all personal, cultural and faith values.
This program is for patients who dont require acute care or hospitalization but need more support than can be given at their own home. Patient stays are up to 2 months.
Accessing the special auxiliary beds program
The Medicine Hat Home Care or Transition Team based at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital is responsible for admitting patients to the special auxiliary beds program.
