Seniors Centre activities

The Senior Centre facilities (Veiner Centre and Strathcona Centre) promote the well-being of people 50+ through various support services and activities. The centres are both run by a dedicated team of staff members, as well as a huge amount of support from volunteers and community partners. There are a variety of activities included with membership, including physically active opportunities, like table tennis, pickleball, fitness classes, yoga, and more, and less physically demanding activities, like cards, dominos, painting, and more! The Centre also includes food services, where patrons can come and enjoy a meal daily between 11:30-1:30pm (fees apply), as well as Tues evenings 4-8pm. Strathcona Centre houses a fully functioning fitness centre (additional fees apply). See the website for a listing of all the activities at the centres. The centres are operated by Kerby Assembly - a non-profit organization.
