About this service

This program develops, coordinates, monitors, and implements suicide prevention services across Southeastern Alberta. This program provides:

  • Educational presentations and workshops about suicide prevention to schools, colleges, agencies, businesses, organizations and the public.
  • Provides information on suicide prevention, intervention and post-vention.
  • Hope and Healing support group for people who have lost a loved one to suicide.
  • Regional Suicide Prevention Council (RSPC) - The RSPC facilitates collaboration among community individuals and organizations in an effort to prevent suicide. Organizes events for World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10th) every year.
