About this service
Part of CMHA Alberta Southeast Regions mandate includes the prevention of mental illness and the promotion of mental health. One of the ways CMHA does this is through education & support. This includes:
- Educational presentations to schools, colleges, agencies, businesses, organizations and the public on various topics related to mental health. Free-of-charge to organizations, schools, support groups and the public. A fee may apply for presentations/workshops to businesses.
- Mental Health First Aid - 2 day workshop
- Mental health awareness events & informational displays
- Whispers of Wellness support group (WOW)
