About this organization
The Lions Club of Medicine Hat has been an integral part of the community since 1950. Their impact on the City of Medicine Hat and it's surrounding communities is evident in the projects that that can be seen and used by community members. These include Gear Up!, Lions Park, Strathcona Island Park, a ball diamond at the Family Leisure Center, playground facilities, the walking track at the Southridge Health and Wellness Center. Additionally, our Club supports a number of youth sports teams, scholarships for young people and local groups such as the Women's Shelter, the Medicine Hat and District Food Bank and the Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation.
