About this service

YWCA GirlSpace reaches out to girls with quality programming addressing key social issues facing young women. GirlSpace fills the need for girl-only extra-curricular community programs, offering girls the opportunity to increase their awareness about violence and its root causes, while exploring self, personal achievements, building on positive self-esteem and making new friends. The program is free, consisting of GirlSpace, Girl2Girl, and Girls With Tools.

GirlSpace:

Girl2Girl is a group mentoring session that connects elementary and middle school age girls with high school age girls.

Girls With Tools runs through the YWCA GirlSpace program to help girls explore non-traditional tasks and roles. Sessions are offered throughout the year.
