About this service
MITS (Mentors In Training) is a program where youth can come and learn leadership skills, do activities, and get to be a part of something bigger. The MITS are known as the youth volunteers during our drop in nights and this allows them to be a shining face during programming. At the MAT, we encourage the MITS to be role models for the other youth, as well as get a chance to volunteer during the nights activities by stepping into more of a leadership role! Additionally, plenty of opportunities for strengthening public speaking skills and opportunities to attend more great things the Boys and Girls Club offers.
