About this service
Death Doula (End of Life / ThanaDoula)
We consider it a great honour to support people as their life comes to a close. Sometimes this work is done months or years before death, and sometimes we are there as the last breaths are taken.
This is sacred work to us.
- To support dying individuals and their families, we provide:
- advanced care planning (at any life stage)
- vigiling and similar support as death approaches and arrives
- closing the circle / unfinished business
- companioning
- respite and wellness checks
- legacy projects
- advocacy
Workshops and community programs are also available. For example, advanced care planning sessions can be arranged as a small or large workshop to reduce individual fees. We also network with other businesses and agencies to provide collaborative opportunities.
