About this service
Parkside Group Home is a six bedroom, 24 hour facility which provides support to youth between the ages of 12-17 years. Parkside uses harm reduction strategies and positive counselling and coping models to ensure the youth experience a safe and supportive environment. Transitional support is integral to Parkside's program; family involvement and reunification are a paramount aspect of this support. The program is strengths-based and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on building independent living skills, family and community connections, resiliency skills and self-management skills to assist our youth in succeeding in future placements.
