About this service
The Family Preservation Program provides a multi-pronged approach to supporting youth and their families. Our team includes programming opportunities to aid in the development of skills and resiliency in caregivers and teenagers. The program is open to youth aged 14 to 17 and their guardians.
We collaborate with the greater Family Resource Network to provide family programming opportunities. Referrals are received by self-referral, community, and Network partners. Activities offered by the Family Preservation Program include:
- Parent & Teen mediation
- Caregiver, Youth & Family Groups
- Family Activities
- Community Connection & Referrals
- Cultural Groups
- Private mentorship sessions
- Outreach support
Referrals can come from any source. If the Family Preservation Workers caseload is at capacity, a waitlist will be maintained with referrals triaged based on need.
