About this service
The residential treatment centre houses 8 youth and is staffed 24/7. Each centre has an Alberta Education classroom. Residents will have home visits to practice the skills they are learning and reconnect with their family. Regular family sessions are offered and family involvement is a must as part of the program. Recognizing that recovery is a long-term process, residents and their families are encouraged to look for support in their home communities. Referrals can be made through AHS Addiction Counsellors across Alberta.
