About this service
Legal Advice clinics are held Tuesdays at our office. Attendees must complete an intake and register in advance. Clients are provided with half an hour of free legal advice from a Volunteer Lawyer on a variety of legal concerns.
Immigrants are encouraged to bring a translator with them. Clients dont have to prove their income for clinic. Everyone must go through a detailed intake issue is discussed in great detail to pre-inform the lawyer of client needs. The day of their appointment the client reads over the intake and sign a waiver are given one 30 minutes appointment with a lawyer who will answer questions, give referrals, but cannot represent you in court. You can make additional appointments, will not necessarily be with the same lawyer. May be referred to LLG staff lawyer; appointment will be made by staff and client will be notified
