About this service
Legal Aid Alberta assists eligible clients with the following civil matters:
- income supports and government benefits;
- adult guardianship/trusteeship when the client is the subject of the application; and
- immigration and refugee claims.
When you contact Legal Aid Albertas Legal Services Centre, an assessment will be completed to determine your eligibility for legal representation. If your legal issue is eligible to receive the services of a lawyer, Legal Aid Alberta may appoint a lawyer.
