About this service
In 1998 an unprecedented partnership among eight school jurisdictions, government, business, and other youth-serving agencies was formed in order to improve the school-to-work transitions for Southwestern Alberta youth. These stakeholders saw the need to address community concerns over the level of career education available to students. In response, a non profit organization called Chinook Regional Foundation for Career Transitions was born.
