COVID-19 UPDATE: 1 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lethbridge and District will be temporarily suspending school based mentoring programs (In-School Mentoring, Teen Mentoring, GameOn and GoGirls) effective Monday, March 16, 2020.
Mentors and Mentees in the Community Based Mentoring Program are asked to refrain from meeting in person at this time. We encourage matches to maintain contact through phone, email, and video call at this time.
We are not suspending any intake process and will continue to screen volunteers for all of our mentoring programs.
We are a non-profit organization that facilitates, monitors and supports mentoring relationships for children aged 6-16 years. Our programs continuously evolve to meet the needs of the communities we serve, but are always offered free of charge to clients. All matches are based on compatibility, as our goal is to ensure relationships are safe, healthy and happy.
