About this organization
The Spanish Montessori Learning Centre (SMLC) is the first Spanish Immersion daycare program in the city of Lethbridge. We opened our doors on September 15, 2008 and have been It is our goal to provide a place where children can be exposed mainly to the Spanish language in a fun and educational environment.
We follow the Montessori Philosophy and Methodology in the program for Toddlers and Preschoolers (2 to 6 years olds). For infants (0 to 2 years) we provide a loving and safe place were they will be immersed mainly in the Spanish Language.
We believe in the importance of individual and free learning, providing the children with a safe nurturing and interesting environment so they can discover about themselves others and the world around them.
Our Focus is to give children opportunities to do everyday practical activities that will help them develop their sensory, motor, emotional, language, social and problem solving skills.

Toddlers and Preschoolers (2 to 6 years olds). Infants (0 to 2 years).
