About this service

COVID-19 UPDATE: All services, excluding the Home Support Program, are suspended. Home Support Services will continue with increased safety measures.

The Hinton Community Dinner Program is run by volunteers and coordinated by a Town of Hinton, Family and Community Support Services staff member. Our budget is very limited and we rely solely on community donations to make this program a success. The monthly meal program serves meals to with approximately 100 people at each meal. Our goal is to provide people in our community with a free meal and an opportunity to interact with other community members. We also hope that these events give businesses and organizations opportunities for positive face-to-face interactions with community members.

We work hard to provide this valuable service to the community and we believe that all members of our community can play an active role in enhancing the well-being of our community. We are proud of what we offer and of the community support we receive.
