Service offering family caregivers short-term relief.
There are 3 types of respite services that may be provided:
- companion care in the home: up to 4 hours a week
- adult day support program: up to 2 days a week for 6 hours a day
- overnight stay in a care facility: the length of stay to be decided after a home care assessment
