About this service
We know that sometimes its just not possible to keep a pet. But before making the decision to surrender a pet, please consider all of your options.
Please call us during business hours at 780-926-5520 to discuss surrendering your pet prior to bring him/her to the shelter. You will be required to sign a release form giving the NLRHS ownership of the animal. Once you have signed the agreement, you may not reclaim your pet, so please be sure that you have made the right decision for you and your pet.
