Spinal Cord Injury Alberta - Grande Prairie Region

Referral sources are Alberta Health Services, community based, municipal and include self-referrals.

Our mission statement is to empower persons with spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities to achieve independence and full community participation.

Areas of support are broad and are tailored to the goals of the individual person. Goals may include form completion; accessing adapted equipment; advocacy; attending appointments; housing; information services; accessing community-based health professionals, social, recreational and leisure services; sustainable income, transportation. Services may be provided at client's preferred location and is inclusive.

We are happy to serve as a referral source, and work with other community agencies to the best benefit of the individual, family and support networks. The Grande Prairie office provides services throughout the Alberta North West, and will work with you to access support out of region as needed.
