About this service
The Gurmat Sikh Study Centre, situated in Gurdwara Sahib in Grande Prairie, facilitates the advancement of the Sikh faith by providing educational and spiritual resources to the Sikh community. To aid community growth, the centre offers Punjabi teaching classes aimed at basic literacy for young children and Gurmat Sangeet classes, which share the knowledge, technicalities, and essence of Sikh Sacred Music. These music classes also offer hands-on experience with various musical instruments and are open to all ages. Operated by volunteers, these programs are run under the auspices of the Gursikh Missionary Society.
