About this service
The Grande Prairie Police and Crisis Team (PACT) is a crisis response unit serving the Grande Prairie area. The team is composed of an RCMP officer and a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, and their main role is to intervene, assess, and provide support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis in the community. The services PACT offers include referrals to other community agencies, short-term follow-up, and hospital conveyance under the Mental Health Act when necessary. PACT operates every day of the week from 9:00am to 9:00 pm. The team is dispatched by the RCMP, which is also their affiliate partner.
