The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Pulmonary Function Lab is a facility that provides non-invasive respiratory tests for both inpatient and outpatient care. The lab offers a suite of services such as Simple Spirometry, Complete Pulmonary Function Tests for both adults and children over six years, Diffusion Capacity, Maximum Expiratory and Minimum Inspiratory Pressure Measurements, Exercise-Induced Bronchospasm, a 6-Minute Walk Test, Arterial Blood Gas Testing, and Exertional Oximetry Desaturation Walk Test. These tests are used to measure lung functionality, including lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange. The lab operates from Monday to Friday, offering services from 7:00am to 3:00 pm. The facilities also include elevators, designated disabled parking, and washrooms.
