GPRH - Crisis Response Team

The Crisis Response Team (CRT) at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital is a multidisciplinary team comprising registered nurses and mental health therapists. The team supports addiction and mental health patients who arrive at the Emergency Department through crisis stabilization, mental health assessments, and provides necessary referrals and follow-ups. Patients access this service via a referral from the triage team in the emergency department if deemed safe and appropriate. The CRT works collaboratively with on-call psychiatry and is available for service every day of the week from 8:00am to 10:00 pm. The hospital facilities include elevators, designated disabled parking, and washrooms. The team accepts referrals from the Emergency Department or other inpatient units, as appropriate. The wait times can vary.
