About this service
At Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society, we have seen first hand the financial burden a terminal illness can cause for a person and their family. Emergency financial support is available to individuals and their immediate family members who are dealing with a palliative diagnosis. GPPCS One Time Funding is available (after all other sources of funding have been exhausted) to defray costs of: counselling, medications, supplies, equipment, and some extenuating circumstances. The Society reserves the right to request receipts or invoices prior to releasing funds.

GPPCS - One-Time Emergency Funding is open Monday 10:00am - 3:00pm Tuesday 10:00am - 3:00pm Wednesday 10:00am - 3:00pm Thursday 10:00am - 3:00pm Friday 10:00am - 3:00pm.
