About this service
Provides access to health services for people who speak French. This program plans to promote French language health services with a focus on enhancing equitable access to health services for Francophone residents and improving French language access to mental health and addiction services, primary care, and home and community care services for seniors and newcomers.
Services may include:
- help navigate patients through the healthcare system
- improve a Francophone patient's journey within the health care system
- identify the health needs and priorities of the Francophone community in north zone area
- provide interpretation and translation services for patients
- recruiting bilingual health professionals
