About this service
This program is for Permanent Residents and Refugees. The workshops prepare students for work. They provide knowledge, skills, and connections needed to be successful in working in Canada. Topics include writing resumes and cover letters, job interview skills, networking skills and opportunities, education credentials and upgrading, learning Canadian business words, culture and expectations, workplace health and safety, and understanding job rights, responsibilities, and workplace laws. After the workshops, students receive one-on-one job support to find work. Students can join online or in-class. Students need a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 4 and above.
