About this service
The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre Aboriginal Head Start Program is a Program our focus is on school readiness and culture. The GPFC Aboriginal Head Start program is the first in Alberta to receive accreditation and the first in Canada to receive a daycare license.
We are designed to give children from 3-5 years old the opportunity to develop to their potential by learning through play. Children will develop the self-confidence needed to overcome difficulties in their social environment; preparing them for successful lives in their families, school and community.
