About this service
The focus of Rising Above, a faith-based residential treatment program based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Participants in the six-month program are employable but unable to sustain employment currently. One of the program's aims is to provide participants with the necessary skills to maintain employment once they leave or complete the program. Participants are expected to fulfill 12 hours per week of Employment Readiness Training at partnering businesses. The training incorporates teaching servant leadership, promoting a new perspective on life, self-esteem development, and contributing to society. The ultimate goal is to aid program participants in obtaining and sustaining employment post-program.
