About this organization
The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church branch is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Its practices originate from the Byzantine Rite, which was passed down to the people from the apostolic church of Greece and Asia Minor. Divine Liturgies are held several days each week, and while everyone is encouraged to join in prayer, only Catholics are permitted to partake in Holy Communion. The focus of this parish is for attendees to connect with Christ, and there is no pressure with regard to dressing or doting. Parking space is provided adjacent to the church.
