About this organization
The Grande Prairie Public School District Education Foundation was established in 1991 to enhance educational opportunities for students. As the third oldest in the province, the GPPSD Education Foundation was designed to complement basic education services in the city's public schools. Foundation members work towards providing resources in areas that are not funded through government allocations, such as: - Scholarships - Tutorial Programs - Reading development programs - Grants to schools - Student recognition for achievement and citizenship - Breakfast and Snack programs - Field trips - Guest Speakers
