Grande Prairie Live Theatre (GPLT) is one of the largest non-profit community theatre companies in Canada, with a history spanning 60 years. GPLT produces seven shows a season, along with other special events, concerts, and film programming, reaching over 11,000 people annually. They rely heavily on their nearly 300 volunteers for these productions. GPLT runs two venues: a 161-seat theatre located in Downtown Grande Prairie and the KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre, located in St. John Paul II Catholic School, with 304 seats including dedicated wheelchair spots. Both theatres are available for community use and special event rentals. As an organization, GPLT is committed to expanding its audience, volunteer base, talent pool, and role in Grande Prairie's arts scene.
