About this organization
Blue Heron Support Services - Grande Prairie provides support and coordination of services to survivors of acquired brain injury and their families through the Alberta Brain Injury Initiative (ABII). Our Grande Prairie office serves individuals within Grande Prairie and the surrounding area. We provide support, coordinate services, help enhance community capacity and provide education around injury prevention.
Our agency also runs the Community Access for People in Continuing Care (CAPCC) program within Grande Prairie and the surrounding area. This program is for individuals who are under the age of 65 who are living in long term care. The program focuses on community access and is run by qualified staff who are able to coordinate activities and ensure that you get to and from activities safely.
