GP County FCSS - Early Childhood Development Programs

The goal of the County of Grande Prairie Early Childhood Development Programs is to provide play-based learning in a safe and nurturing environment in which each child has the opportunity to develop to his/her potential socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and intellectually. Playschool Programs: County of Grande Prairie Playschool programs are child-centered and focus on delivering developmentally appropriate programming for four-year-olds. Contact the Family and Child Development Coordinator for information and options for three-year-olds. Online applications for playschools will reopen every spring. Parent and Tot Programs: For children 0-6 years old and their parents/caregivers. A drop-in style program where parents actively engage with their child in a fun, social environment that combines opportunities for free play, information sharing, and structured play activities. Provided at no charge through FCSS funding. Locations in Hythe, Clairmont, Five Mile Hall, and Bezanson.
