About this service
In our Yellow Room, the children are practicing sitting up, crawling and walking. They are encouraged to start feeding themselves, or holding their own bottles and transitioning to more solid foods. Theyre busy exploring their surroundings while creating positive and secure attachments with our educators. They are beginning and encouraged to use gross and fine motor skills through walking and playing with toys and materials. We provide ample opportunities for the children to develop their speech and language skills through reading, singing songs and describing actions they take (i.e. Picking up a block). The Yellow Room is set up for ease of movement and safety. An educator is always nearby to support a child. One to one interaction is important, as they help to develop trust and bonding. The children are given time and space to grow, to explore, to discover and to express themselves freely.
