About this service
The outdoor season starts the first week of May (weather and field conditions permitting) and finishes the end of June. Our U9 teams play one game a week and practice one day a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Games will be Tuesday or Thursday at 6.15 or 7:30 in Edmonton or Fort Saskatchewan. Practices will be Tuesday or Thursday at 6 or 7 pm in Fort Saskatchewan All parents must stay and watch while their children are playing on the fields. All U9 players must wear outdoor cleats, shorts, shin pads and socks which cover their shin pads. Jersey are provided to players with a $100 jersey deposit which will be returned once the jersey is returned cleaned and undamaged. Program Information For their safety players are not allowed to wear any jewellery (earrings, bracelets, headbands, etc.) during games or practices. Taping of jewellery is not sufficient to prevent player injury. The City of Fort Saskatchewan will provide rain out information on their website - click here. Sports fields are maintained by the City of Fort Saskatchewan and the City determines when the fields are open for the soccer teams. U9 Field layouts are under the "Fields" tab.
