About this service
Every year in the last week of August, this community-wide event introduces parents to all the supports and services available to families in Fort Macleod. To help parents prepare for the school year, the event focuses on a huge exchange of gently used fall and winter clothing, outerwear, shoes and boots. Local professionals offer free dental screening, optical screening and free tidy-up hair trims. Sports and dance groups are open for registration, a selection of free school supplies is available and everyone is welcome to a free snack.
