About this organization
The Fort Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the NWMP and First Nations People from our area. Along with our award winning programs, The Fort offers free scavenger hunts for children, who will win a prize upon completion! Along with our horses, we are also the home to two pygmy goats! Flip and Pearl are at the museum year round, and love to be fed treats. The documentary the Great March, which tells the story of the NWMP formation and the march west to abolish the whiskey trade, plays daily on loop throughout the year. Please see our website for more information on what the Fort Museum has to offer!
Although The Fort does supply RCMP and Official Musical Ride merchandise in the Gift Shop, the Fort Museums NWMP Musical Ride is not the official RCMP Musical Ride, nor are the riders members of the RCMP. Rides scheduled multiple times daily in the summer - see website for schedule.
