About this organization
Mission: The Relief Society was founded in 1842 for women of the LDS Church, and is now worldwide. Its purpose is to help women and their families come to Christ, to exercise charity and to nurture those in need, to strengthen homes and families, and to serve and support each other.
Activities: We meet on Sundays to discuss religious values and doctrine. Four times per year we meet to learn practical skills that will strengthen ourselves and our families. Topics for these evenings include such things as homemaking skills, literacy, relationships, service and physical, mental and emotional health.
