About this service
Offers an emergency place to stay targeted to homeless women and transgender women. Services include a bed in a room with 1 to 6 other women, toiletries and bedding, 3 meals a day, showers, free laundry, safe and secure medication administration, access to a computer with internet, outreach support and advocacy within the community, and support in the community with housing through the Placement Coordinator. Free for clients with no income or those not on a fixed income. 30 per cent of income is required for those on a fixed income. $626.00 per month is required for clients on Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH). Registration begins at 7:30 am. Women with children cannot be accommodated. Admittance is based on availability and need.
