About this service
The Home Next Door - an affordable housing complex which provides a safe and secure home in a healthy, supportive community, to women with children to promote continued healing and independence.
WINGS recognized some families were leaving the second-stage shelter early in order to secure accommodations or staying beyond the standard program of six months when no other accommodations could be secured, preventing the WINGS shelter from offering space in our programs to other families in need.
By addressing the shortage of affordable housing, The Home Next Door at WINGS aims to break the cycle of multi-generational poverty for future generations.
