Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Edmonton - Community Garden

Our goal is to create an environment that nourishes body, mind, spirit, and community. To this end, we get together to grow vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers in a beautiful mix.

The garden is communal, without individual plots. Both the work and the harvest are shared, through workbees, watering and maintenance schedules, and harvesting times. We try to get together at least once a month to plan, discuss, work on projects, and spend time with each other. The time commitment for member gardeners is 30-60 minutes per week (watering, weeding) plus about 4 hours per month during the growing season.

Trinity Community Garden is on land owned by Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. You do not need to be a church member to be a member of the garden. Priority is given to people who live in the neighbourhood and who do not have other gardening opportunities. To become a member gardener, you need to sign up at the beginning of the growing season.
